In April 2008, Radio Rentals Ltd & Two Way Radio Sales was purchased by CommsWest Ltd whose background spans many years in NZ two way radio communications industry, emergency services response equipment and automotive electrical experience.

Two Way Radio Sales was established in 2003. This decision was made due to our frustration in getting good quality radio’s and accessories at the right price for our increasing fleet of Rental Radios. All too often the radio supplier’s purpose was to sell a box called a two way radio and a token number of overly expensive off the shelf radio accessories.
With 20 years experience in the two way radio and accessory industry working for large global radio manufacturers and with manufacturing contacts around the world the decision to set up our own Two Way Radio Sales was an easy one to make. Our goal now is to make available to our New Zealand customers, our diverse range of radio and accessories at the right price without compromising quality. Our customers can be assured that any accessory we sell has already been tested thoroughly on our own fleet of rental radios.
Our Staff have over 20 years experience in the Radio Communication industry in both the technical and sales environments. In the 1980' s we were supporting the needs of customers around Auckland and Northland regions in the Agricultural, public transport and other commercial industries.
Our staff were also involved early in the development and rollout of the first major data over radio project in New Zealand with over 450 data units in one company.
This experience was further enhanced with maintenance contracts with all major emergency services bringing a variety of technologies including paging, conventional radio and trunking radio product. Needless to say we have an in depth knowledge and experience that we can offer our customers in helping them develop the most viable, cost effective solution for their two way radio requirements.
